Bhagwan Krishna In The Omkar Symbolism

Image
After the Dwarka Town submerged, the migratory people from this town, carried and established many symbolisms about Bhagwan Krishna at the new established town of the Mohan-Jodaro. They carried the writing skill of the age of Bhagwan Krishna at the Mohan-Jodaro. The first letter of this alphabet was the "OM". One of the  important seals from the Mohan-Jodaro, mentions the first letter of this alphabet - "OM". This letter is widely known in the Sanskrit literatures as the "pranav- akshar" . The Mohan-Jodaro "pranav- akshar" links this "bow shaped symbolism" with Bhagwan Krishna.     Letter sign, "pranav-akshar" is of great importance in all the Indian languages.  "OM" is seen in the North Indian Script like the Devanagari. In the South Indian Scripts- Kannada and Telegu retained the original orientation as found on the Mohan-Jodaro seal. The Tamil "OM" sign is oriented like the North Indian Devanagari. T

Dwarka of Bhagwan Krishna And The Indus Seals

Image
There is a passage in the Mahabharat which says that after the Dwarka submerged, people of this town moved towards the Mohenjodaro and created a new town. This new creation of town  as per Carbon 14 test is 3100 BCE. In the new town of Mohenjodaro, many symbolisms are associated with Bhagwan Krishna. Marshall and Banerjee, as archaeologists failed to match honestly the symbolisms with the Mahabharat. For them either Mahabharat was difficult  to understand or it was still "a disease of language" what Maxmuller has coined and weaved earlier. The colonial idea of Mohenjodaro remained in India until in 1994 my father, Dr Jha,  did a breakthrough.  Scholars around the world in 1994 came to know from Dr Jha, his Hindi monograph "Sindhu Mudraon ki Lipi ke Vacana ki Nayi Disha" , this was published by  the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. The English version appeared under the title "A New Direction in the Study of the Indus Seals" in the Quarterly J

Scientific Dating of Dwarka

Image
☝ Dr.SR Rao identified this  site near Khuda Dost Dargah at the Bet-Dwarka island, which exposed perforated pot sherds, what Dr Rao calls it the   Harappan site. This site can be seen only during the low tide. The scientific dating at Australia revealed the age of 3260 + - 470 years BP  of this potsherd.  ( Source: Dr SR Rao )   Bet-Dwarka island is not a submerged site. Most of the sites in the islands are occupied by the modern  Islamic structures. The actual Dwarka of Bhagwan Krishna, is completely a submerged site under the sea-water,  which is mentioned widely in the Mahabharat. The first qualification of Bhagwan Krishna's  Dwarka site is that - it should must be a submerged site. The Bet-Dwarka site is not falling in this archaeological category, as this is not the Mahabharat mentioned submerged site.    The discovery of the three islands by this author (see image below),  with major expansion towards the Great Runn of Kutch and beautiful but elegant Raajmahal built with wh

Bhagwan Krishna Charitam And His Historical Reference

Image
Bhagwan Krishna in the Madhubani Painting  Writing something about Bhagwan Krishna is very difficult. I am not so much qualified to touch or pen down His brilliance. His historical reference is very vast. I have just collected the tip of the iceberg.   The action line on touching the discovery on the archaeology of Dwarka  in India is one subject of immense political nature. After independence, in India, from the Central Government side, this subject has remained an  "untouchable" or simply "taboo" area. The Indian agency, the  Archaeological Survey of India, which is  responsible for discovery and protection of Dwarka, placed Dwarka,   neglected for many years to retain the secular impression.  India,  failed to learn from Israel.  The Israel Government top priority is science, innovation, defense, development and above all pumping fund for the archaeological research, to strengthen the base of Israel culture. The exploration of Khirbet Qana  is one strong exampl

Space Archaeology And The Discovery of Bhagwan Krishna's Dwarka

Image
The  wonderful application of the Analogue Technology ( See Analogue Technology and Dwarka Discovery Part ) developed by this author  in the  "Space Archaeology" solved one of the most difficult problems of the human mankind - the time and age of Bhagwan Krishna and His Dwarka. The above photograph is showing human made rectangular stones. This  is one of the several photographs, which shows direct human involvement in developing a city, which we call Dwarka in the Mahabharat.     Overview of the Space Archaeology:  Aerial photography is a highly effective scientific tool to understand correctly the archaeological features.  The Archaeology during the past two decades felt the need of space application for several reasons: a) understanding image in the spectral and spatial resolution technique ; b) development of software and technique for data processing and under water study; c) understand the human settlement in changed environment condition; d) reduction of risk in deep-
