LOSS OF HERITAGE AT INDIA AND PAKISTAN.

Before reading please note down the GPS location of the 4 dried ports at the Mohenjodaro. The Bet-Dwarka seal ( just like the Mohenjodaro seal  )  recovered by Dr. SR Rao, forced me to think hundred times that the Mohenjodaro was connected with the Dwarka Port. But, John Marshall and RD Banerjee give different idea about the Mohenjodaro as land locked town ! Both were wrong. The Mohenjodaro was a port city. Four dried port hangers have been found at the Mohenjodaro. This is not Lothal, the first port city of the Indus Valley Civilization. This was the Mohenjodaro port connected with the Grand Dwarka Port in India.
1. Mohenjodaro First Port on dry Indus River:
Latitude: 27 Degree 18'24.06" N
Longitude: 68 Degree 8'29.09" E
2. Second Mohenjodaro Port 1.24 Km East on dry Indus River:
Latitude: 27 Degree 19'0.05 " N
Longitude: 68 Degree 8'50.26" E
3. The Third Port is 0.75 Km further East from the second Port.
4. The Fourth Port is 1.5 Km further East from the third port

When this beautiful country was divided into two parts India and Pakistan, the politics at that time ignored the age long heritage of India. In a zeal to become Prime Minister of a geographical land this country was divided by Nehru and Jinnah. They ignored the age long heritage, which was the common property of the people. They ignored the mass suffering of the people, worst known in the history of the mankind. Large migration of population from one country to the another, is still seen today with wet eyes.

Both the country lost their roots. India is not happy with shredding away of the Harappa and the Mohenjodaro. Pakistan is also not happy to get a bounty of a large cultural setup. Yet both the countries are irresponsible in managing their heritage and cultural assets.

This shall demonstrate how our ancient heritage is under threat and loss at both the countries .

In 2018 I had discovered the ancient Vedic Dwarka, a late Vedic age site  mentioned widely in the Mahabharata. The Government establishment in India right from the days of the British rule, has declared the Mahabharata as myth in a wake to protect the bogus call of the Aryan invasion Theory at 1500 BCE. In fact the ASI under Dr. SR Rao tried to find out the ancient site at the Bet-Dwarika, but the Government discouraged such venture. Though Dr. SR Rao, didn't got any success other than recovering a Mohenjodaro seal at Bet Dwarika, attesting that the land of the Vedic-Dwarka is connected with the Mohenjodaro at the same age line.

The three head Varaha Unicorn is found at the Mohenjodaro and at the Bet-Dwarka both. This seal connects both the Mohenjodaro and the Vedic-Dwarka of the same age line and period.

From 2000 to 2018 lot of satellite techniques were conducted by me to know this ancient historical issues. Ultimately in 2020 I published the evidence based discovery  of the Vedic-Dwarka. This was connected with Pakistan. The dry bed of the Indus River has shown many abandoned ports, some six in numbers , which were the part of the Mohenjodaro Port city. This is not land locked city as claimed by Sir John Marshall and RD Banerjee. Both are in error. They have misunderstood this civilization grossly.

The Vedic-Dwarka port with 40 islands are historical heritage of India. Government during the last 70 years made no attempt to seriously find out the site of Bhagwan Krishna. This resulted in mass commercial exploitations of the Gulf of Kutch, where the Vedic-Dwarka is situated. At large scale big commercial house, like Essar Group has damaged the ancient site of the Vadinar and the Salaya, where the ancient relics of the  Vedic Dwarika are present under the deep sea. Their commercial port operation is still going on and existing since last 10 years on the ancient site of the Vedic Dwarka. This is also violation of the Indian Wildlife Act and the Wet Land Act  The entire Gulf of Kutch is under the ambit of the National Marine National Park, under the Indian Wildlife Act, 1972. The Section 2 (17 ) of this Act defines “land”, which  includes canals, creeks and other water channels, reservoirs, rivers, streams and lakes, whether artificial or natural". The ancient Vedic-Dwarka, is an artificial man made land submerged at 100 feet under the sea water  which includes man made canals, creeks and other water channels of ancient ports and ancient township. This is the ancient heritage of India.

This is the modern port operated by the Essar Group in the Gulf of Kutch.  Top surface is very calm, but downside this structure ancient civilization of the Vedic Dwarka is sleeping. The ground structure has been damaged by the Essar port. This is ironic how the clearance was given  ten years ago by the Ministry of Environment. This site do not qualifies the Environmental clearance.

The photo graph shows at the tip ancient relics on which modern construction has been done by the Essar Group.

The photo graph right hand side shows modern construction on the debris of the ancient port site of the Vedic Dwarka .

The modern expansion of the port has damaged  the ancient relics and ground surface of the   Vedic Dwarka .

Modern construction right on the ancient site of Ancient Dwarka.

The two photographs of the same location  shows the visible difference, and  the heavy loss done by the Essar group at the Gulf of Kutch. The construction is on the ancient port relics of the Vedic-Dwarka.

The two photographs show the visible ancient relic of the Ancient Vedic Dwarka. The second frame has removed sea water in the satellite image using the analogue technique. The ancient ports of Bhagwan Krishna are lined with beautiful ceramic plates. Even this ancient port is beating the current best ports at the Mumbai. The ceramics are sourced from the Baluchistan Parada kingdom, which came into the control of Dwarka after the MB war. How to use ceramics in plates and potteries with high glazed edge is a technology developed on the fast wheel at the Dwarka. Wherever you see ceramics made on fast wheel is an innovation after the Dwarka. An important principle overlooked by the archeologists.

The ports with large frame showing ancient relics of the ancient port city Vedic Dwarka.

The large perspective of the ports with large frame showing ancient relics of the ancient port city Vedic Dwarka. In the left side see ancient stone works of an ancient port.

The large scale spread of the artistic white ceramic  stone is the significant achievements of that age. This ceramic stone is found only in the Dwarka culture spread in the ancients ports and other civil structures of the Vedic Dwarka.

The ancient Vedic Dwarka also falls in the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017 for conservation and management of wetlands in the country. This is not only the house of ancient relics, but this has been the abode of many different aquatic plants and marine animals which are at the verge of extinction. The petroleum spread on the sea water spilled from the various ships are adding the problems. The permission to the Essar Group to operate on the ancient relics and the debris of the wet lands shows that the Ministry of the Environment, in a haste without examining the bad consequence has given the Environmental clearance to this port. The wetlands falling within areas covered under the Indian Forest Act, 1927, Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and the Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 2011 are applicable here.  The Ramsar Convention, which is an international intergovernmental treaty for conservation of wetlands, to which India is a party, defines wetlands as “areas of marsh, peatland or water, whether natural or artificial, permanent or temporary, with water that is static or flowing, fresh, brackish or salt, including areas of marine water the depth of which, at low tides, does not exceed six meters”. This entire scenario qualifies here.

The situation at Pakistan is very disturbing. Though the Mohen-Jo-Daro site is a UNESCO protected site. But initial opinion of John Marshall and RD Banerjee put this site a landlocked city. This is not so. This was a big port city. This city was connected with the Vedic -Dwarika site. Dr.  SR Rao seal's recovery at the Bet-Dwarika is very important to understand the connection between the two sites at the same age line. The port city of the Mohen- Jo- Daro destroyed around 1900 BCE, when the water volume of the River Indus depleted. In the Mahabharata there is wide mention of long years of draught and people abandoning the sites in search of livelihood as major earnings were dependent  on the ports.

The abandoned port hangers four in numbers at the Mohenjodaro now are in the dry bed of the River Indus. The innocent farmers of Pakistan have widely encroached the lands where ancient port hangers are situated. This is loss to the heritage of both the countries - India and Pakistan.  If we move further from this site we again find two similar sites, equally not less than the "Mohen-Jo- Daro" site at the village Bhoon Bhut Pur and the village Goth Abdullah. The Indus River shows near this village big port operation not less than the "Mohen- Jo- Daro" site. This says the village of "Bhoon Bhut Pur" and Goth Abdullah, two big  ancient sites of not less than the present Mohen - Jo- Daro are sleeping. People unknown from such treasure are destroying and plucking the ancient age materials from the time immemorial.

The "Mohen- Jo- Daro" port is not a land locked city. This was a port city. Now 4 port hangers are seen on the dry bed of the River Indus. These port hangers are encroached by farmers.  See cultivated land at the top side hanger. Sir John Marshall and RD Banerjee failed to notice these important port evidence of the Mohenjodaro site.

The abandoned and submerged port of the Mohen-Jo- Daro  at the River Indus.

The three more abandoned ports of the Mohen- Jo- Daro . This is seen submerged in the Indus River, with one port hanger completely damaged. - see bottom hanger

This is bigger port then the "Mohen- Jo- Daro" . This has six port hangers. Now in the dry bed of the River Indus near village Bhoon Bhat Pur. This image says that at the Bhoon Bhat Pur, a large civilization is sleeping under this village, which was using this port and hangers. The brown patch showing between the second and third port hanger and the cluster of residents shown at the last hanger shows the possible ancient site which is sleeping here.

Another sleeping mound is seen at the village Goth Abdullah. it has four abandoned port hangers in the River Indus. This shows a site of Mohen- Jo Daro type is sleeping here at this village. An ancient road is shown here ( see last port hanger bottom ) - originating from this port and going down deep to the village Goth Abdullah. This ancient road is the only witness between the ancient site and the port.

The two panels above show artifacts found from the Baluchistan - which is defectively called Kulli Culture. This has nothing to do with the Kulli. This is from the Parada Kingdom , a very ancient Kingdom mentioned in the MB, which was  ruled under the Sindh King, Jayadratha . The Parada King along with the Sindh King Jayadrath died in the MB war. This site came ultimately under the control of Bhagwan Krishna after the MB war. The Baluchistan was producing ceramic and lapis lajuli. The wide use of the ceramic plates and the lapis lajuli at the Dwarka site says that the ceramic and the lapis lajuli mines at the Baluchistan were under the control of Dwarka. The artifacts are now changing from bull to unicorn and peepal leaf motif ( a representation of Krishna authority and symbol ).  These artifacts are  in illegal way  mined from Baluchistan ancient buried sites. Some artifacts are stored at the Japan Ceramic Museum and some have moved to the France Museum.

India and Pakistan, as a country shall have to learn the sensible heritage and its importance for the human mankind. This is not the property of any government. This is the property of a Civilization which we cherish and enjoy in our ancient literatures from the time immemorial.
