LOSS OF HERITAGE AT INDIA AND PAKISTAN.
When this beautiful country was divided into two parts India and Pakistan, the politics at that time ignored the age long heritage of India. In a zeal to become Prime Minister of a geographical land this country was divided by Nehru and Jinnah. They ignored the age long heritage, which was the common property of the people. They ignored the mass suffering of the people, worst known in the history of the mankind. Large migration of population from one country to the another, is still seen today with wet eyes.
Both the country lost their roots. India is not happy with shredding away of the Harappa and the Mohenjodaro. Pakistan is also not happy to get a bounty of a large cultural setup. Yet both the countries are irresponsible in managing their heritage and cultural assets.
This shall demonstrate how our ancient heritage is under threat and loss at both the countries .
In 2018 I had discovered the ancient Vedic Dwarka, a late Vedic age site mentioned widely in the Mahabharata. The Government establishment in India right from the days of the British rule, has declared the Mahabharata as myth in a wake to protect the bogus call of the Aryan invasion Theory at 1500 BCE. In fact the ASI under Dr. SR Rao tried to find out the ancient site at the Bet-Dwarika, but the Government discouraged such venture. Though Dr. SR Rao, didn't got any success other than recovering a Mohenjodaro seal at Bet Dwarika, attesting that the land of the Vedic-Dwarka is connected with the Mohenjodaro at the same age line.
From 2000 to 2018 lot of satellite techniques were conducted by me to know this ancient historical issues. Ultimately in 2020 I published the evidence based discovery of the Vedic-Dwarka. This was connected with Pakistan. The dry bed of the Indus River has shown many abandoned ports, some six in numbers , which were the part of the Mohenjodaro Port city. This is not land locked city as claimed by Sir John Marshall and RD Banerjee. Both are in error. They have misunderstood this civilization grossly.
The Vedic-Dwarka port with 40 islands are historical heritage of India. Government during the last 70 years made no attempt to seriously find out the site of Bhagwan Krishna. This resulted in mass commercial exploitations of the Gulf of Kutch, where the Vedic-Dwarka is situated. At large scale big commercial house, like Essar Group has damaged the ancient site of the Vadinar and the Salaya, where the ancient relics of the Vedic Dwarika are present under the deep sea. Their commercial port operation is still going on and existing since last 10 years on the ancient site of the Vedic Dwarka. This is also violation of the Indian Wildlife Act and the Wet Land Act The entire Gulf of Kutch is under the ambit of the National Marine National Park, under the Indian Wildlife Act, 1972. The Section 2 (17 ) of this Act defines “land”, which includes canals, creeks and other water channels, reservoirs, rivers, streams and lakes, whether artificial or natural". The ancient Vedic-Dwarka, is an artificial man made land submerged at 100 feet under the sea water which includes man made canals, creeks and other water channels of ancient ports and ancient township. This is the ancient heritage of India.
The photo graph shows the ancient port relics of the Vedic Dwarka and modern port construction over it .
The modern expansion of the port has damaged the ancient relics and ground surface of the Vedic Dwarka .
Modern construction right on the ancient site of Ancient Dwarka.
The two photographs of the same location shows the visible difference, and the heavy loss done by the Essar group at the Gulf of Kutch. The construction is on the ancient port relics of the Vedic-Dwarka.
The ports with large frame showing ancient relics of the ancient port city Vedic Dwarka.
The ancient Vedic Dwarka also falls in the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017 for conservation and management of wetlands in the country. This is not only the house of ancient relics, but this has been the abode of many different aquatic plants and marine animals which are at the verge of extinction. The petroleum spread on the sea water spilled from the various ships are adding the problems. The permission to the Essar Group to operate on the ancient relics and the debris of the wet lands shows that the Ministry of the Environment, in a haste without examining the bad consequence has given the Environmental clearance to this port. The wetlands falling within areas covered under the Indian Forest Act, 1927, Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and the Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 2011 are applicable here. The Ramsar Convention, which is an international intergovernmental treaty for conservation of wetlands, to which India is a party, defines wetlands as “areas of marsh, peatland or water, whether natural or artificial, permanent or temporary, with water that is static or flowing, fresh, brackish or salt, including areas of marine water the depth of which, at low tides, does not exceed six meters”. This entire scenario qualifies here.
The abandoned port hangers four in numbers at the Mohenjodaro now are in the dry bed of the River Indus. The innocent farmers of Pakistan have widely encroached the lands where ancient port hangers are situated. This is loss to the heritage of both the countries - India and Pakistan. If we move further from this site we again find two similar sites, equally not less than the "Mohen-Jo- Daro" site at the village Bhoon Bhut Pur and the village Goth Abdullah. The Indus River shows near this village big port operation not less than the "Mohen- Jo- Daro" site. This says the village of "Bhoon Bhut Pur" and Goth Abdullah, two big ancient sites of not less than the present Mohen - Jo- Daro are sleeping. People unknown from such treasure are destroying and plucking the ancient age materials from the time immemorial.
The abandoned and submerged port of the Mohen-Jo- Daro at the River Indus.
The three more abandoned ports of the Mohen- Jo- Daro . This is seen submerged in the Indus River, with one port hanger completely damaged. - see bottom hanger
This is bigger port then the "Mohen- Jo- Daro" . This has six port hangers. Now in the dry bed of the River Indus near village Bhoon Bhat Pur. This image says that at the Bhoon Bhat Pur, a large civilization is sleeping under this village, which was using this port and hangers. The brown patch showing between the second and third port hanger and the cluster of residents shown at the last hanger shows the possible ancient site which is sleeping here.
India and Pakistan, as a country shall have to learn the sensible heritage and its importance for the human mankind. This is not the property of any government. This is the property of a Civilization which we cherish and enjoy in our ancient literatures from the time immemorial.
