Jamnagar, now a sleepy town doesn't know what contribution it has on the Indian history or what relation it has with Bhagwan Krishna. In 1535 A.D., the descendent of Krishna, Jam Rawal, founded Nava Nagar, which was called latter Jamnagar. The Junagadh area of Sourashtra was also controlled by the ancestors before Jam Rawal.

The King of Junagadh latter become Muslim, during the Islamic invasion of India. But 90% people of Junagadh were the Hindus. The Indian Independence Act instrument gave the wisdom to the King of Junagadh to join India or Pakistan. The Hindu King by blood and genes, has now become Muslim by taste, by culture and best Muslim lineage from Arabia. The Muslim King Muhammad Mahabat Khan, signed the instrument to join new Pakistan. The Junagadh local population, which dominated at 90% and were Hindu, protested against the poor mindset of the King. Jinnah has shown "Jannat" at Pakistan to the Muslim King of the Junagadh. The Muslim King, the descendent of Krishna, abandoned India one night silently and his magnificent palace constructed on the relics of Bhagwan Krishna with huge treasury. The Junagadh King was 100 times rich then Hyderabad King.

Jinnah treated the King of Junagadh badly at Pakistan. He was given a misery pension with small house. The foolish action of King created widespread murder and looting in Junagarh. Sardar Patel by then has no choice then to send Indian troops. Many Muslims from Junagarh also began migrating to Pakistan on the footpath of the King. . Time has passed by that time a long wall laid before India and Pakistan. The King of Junagadh was weeping at the border. He was beating his chest why he came to Pakistan- the live hell !!! Today this family in Pakistan is in very poor state; pension amount is negligible even less than peon salary. Bhagwan Dwarikadheesh punished his own descendants !!! . We Indians at this side of border have sympathy, with this Pakistan moved King as he was the descendent of Bhagwan Krishna. . जामनगर अपने में विशिष्ट इतिहास छिपा कर रखी है . १५३५ ईस्वी सं में जाम रावल जो भगवान् कृष्ण के वंशज थे ने एक नया शहर नवनगर बसाया था जिसे जामनगर बाद में कही गयी . जामनगर के ही वंशज जूनागढ़ में थे . इस्लामिक आक्रमण में भारत के हिन्दू राजा भय के मारे मुसलमान बन रहे थे या मुसलमान राजा के यहां पारिवारिक सम्बन्ध स्थापित कर रहे थे. जूनागढ़ का राजा महावत खान साहब थे . रक्त , संस्कार में हिन्दू . परन्तु विचार में अरब देश का सर्वोत्तम मुस्लिम.

इंडियन इंडिपेंडेंस एक्ट ने महावत खान साहब को यह अनुमति दी थी की वे भारत या पाकिस्तान में अपनी इच्छा से विलय कर सकते हैं . जिन्ना ने महावत खान को पाकिस्तान में जन्नत ( स्वर्ग ) का रास्ता दिखाया था . महावत खान ने पाकिस्तान में विलय की दस्तखत कर दी. वे चुपचाप एक रात भारत छोड़ कर पाकिस्तान चले गए . वे अपना धन, सम्पती वैभव , विशाल महल जो द्वारिकाधीश के पुरातन श्री चरणों में बनाये गए थे , जूनागढ़ में छोड़ दी गयी.

पाकिस्तांन में महावत खान के साथ बुरा व्यवहार रखी गयी . जिन्ना और लियाकत अली घृणा की नजर से राजा को देखता था . ये उन्हें मुजाहिर ( भगोड़ा ) मानता था. एक पेंशन टूटी घर राजा को दे दी गयी. इधर जूनागढ़ में तूफ़ान खड़ी हो गयी. हिन्दू बाहुल्य इलाके ने भारत में रहना स्वीकार किया. यहां गृह कलह शुरू हो गयी. अंततः भारतीय सेना ने जूनागढ़ में प्रवेश किया और जूनागढ़ को भारत में विलय कर दिया.
. अब पाकिस्तांन और भारत के बीच एक अदृश्य विशाल दीवार थी. महावत खान बॉर्डर के पास अक्सर रोता रहता था. उसे पछतावा था कि वह कैसे जिन्ना की बातों में आ गया. आज महावत खान साहब का परिवार पाकिस्तान में अत्यंत दरिद्र अवस्था में हैं. उन्हें चपरासी के वेतन बराबर भी पेंशन नहीं मिलती. भगवान ने अपने ही वंशज को दंड दिया !!!
. बॉर्डर के इस ओर हम भारतीयों की एक गहरी संवेदना इस परिवार से है क्योंकि यह विशिष्ट परिवार भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के वंशज थे.
